Description

Desired Learning Outcomes:
Core and LMC Midwives will refresh and update topics and skills in obstetric emergencies.
RN’s will have an overview of obstetric emergencies & feel more confident in how they can contribute during these situations.
The day will promote mindfulness of situational awareness and good communication with team members and whānau during emergency situations.

Workshop Content for 2025:
Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH), Shoulder Dystocia, Breech, SEPSIS, CPR including Maternal Collapse, newborn resuscitation refresher.
