Description
Desired Learning Outcomes:
Yearly update to ensure our staff are prepared for respiratory/cardiac arrest and choking.
Workshop Content:
• Immediate life support for adult, child and infant.
• Choking algorithm for adult, child and infant.
• Use of automated external defibrillator (AED)
• For clinical staff: use of oxygen, bag-valve-mask, suction, Oro-pharyngeal airways.
• For clinical staff: recognition and management of anaphylaxis
