Description
One day course that teaches and assesses the following skills and knowledge -
- Immediate resuscitation for adults and children
- Arrhythmia recognition and the use of advisory and manual defibrillators
- Airway management including Laryngeal Mask Airway insertion
- The generic approach to the early management of trauma
- Advanced management of adult and paediatric collapse including appropriate drug therapies and peri-arrest management
- The use of teamwork and communication in managing a crisis
