Whanake Te Reo is an introductory Reo Māori programme for beginner-level staff who work at WellSouth and are based in the Dunedin office. Staff are expected to attend at least 9 out of 12 scheduled sessions to complete the course.

Description

WTR came from demand of staff who are needing an avenue to strengthen and improve their knowledge of te ao Māori and their te reo Māoricapabilities. Through WTR staff will develop a closer connection to te ao Māori through their learning of Te Reo Māori, gaining a deeper understanding of the Māori worldview, including tikanga, places and Māori knowledge systems.
